Best Satellite Deals

For years there has been fierce competition to offer the best Satellite TV Deals or promotions. More recently it has been about the best HD TV channels, along with FREE DVR service with no clear victor.

They have been going toe to toe for a while, and adding many new channels in HD like recently added Spike TV, Fox News and many others. For about a year Direct had the most for HDTV service but they are both equally better than Cable far as HD is concerned. As for the best HDDVR or new the pocket dish, that may change as soon as I write about it but personal preference is an important factor.

DirecTV used to be the leader for HDTV channels, but now Dish Network has gained some ground offering both a few more channels and at a lower cost than any other satellite TV deal has done before. That may not be for long though, I’d say overall they are in the same place right now. While dish TV is a little better in most categories, you may like DirecTV'S sports package better like the NFL Sunday Ticket HD.

DirecTV and Dish TV are the final combatants in this competition having out lasted all the rest of the companies like Voom, Prime Star and others. As long as there is at least two competing dealers you will always have a good satellite TV promotion.

The great thing about satellite TV is because of investments into equipment like terrestrial transmitters that are already place, they can by now better afford great satellite TV promotions. The Cable networks can’t compete unless they sell you a lot more service in a bundled package, even then it's still not as good of quality as satellite TV.

Sometimes it's good to talk to your satellite TV dealer about your house prior to your dish TV installation to find out if a tree, or other obstruction maybe blocking your signal. They will best know more than anyone how to make it work and use custom equipment like towers and tripods only if absolutely necessary. Be smart about it to ensure your free dish installation.
